Artificial grass installation in East Sussex
The process of our artificial grass installation begins with a request for a quotation, We will then arrange a visit, measure the area where the artificial grass is to be laid, and then offer you a detailed, itemised quotation in pdf. format. When our quotation is accepted, we agree on a start date and begin your artificial grass project.
1. First we clear the area where the artificial grass is to be laid from all grass, bush, shrub and rubble.
2. We then ensure that at least 4 inches is available to cater for 2 inches of MOT and 2 inches of sharp sand that is used in prep.
3.Treated 2" x 4" timber may be used in the perimeter of the aggregate when there are no other borders available to ensure the aggregate stays in place.
4. The MOT is laid and compacted with the sharp sand being laid on top of the MOT and also compacted.
5. We then lay landscape fabric over the entire area of the prep to prevent weeds from growing.
6. The artificial grass is then rolled out on top of the landscape fabric, cut to size and pinned down using turf pins or galvanised nails when 2" x 4" timber is used.
7. Lastly kiln dried sand is brushed over the surface of the newly laid turf to weigh it down and also to give it a natural look.
The price quoted above is our man day rate.
